Potential sales-boosting marijuana laws go into effect in Colorado this week that will permit home delivery of medical marijuana and on-site cannabis consumption, contingent on local approvals. In moves that could improve Colorado’s marijuana business climate:
Starting Jan. 1, licenses can be issued for “marijuana hospitality establishments” such as cannabis cafes, dispensary tasting rooms, marijuana bus tours and designated areas of hotels. Starting Jan. 2, permits can be issued for medical marijuana delivery, with retail cannabis distribution slated to begin in 2021.
Another notable rule change in Colorado: Vitamin E acetate, polyethylene glycol (and medium chain triglycerides are prohibited in the manufacture of marijuana concentrate or products intended for vaporization. – Jeff Smith
